✨ Firefighter’s Night Before Christmas at Melodi’s: A Holiday Tradition Kids Absolutely Love ✨

 

One of our most magical holiday traditions is back — and it’s truly one of the most unforgettable events of the season! Our annual Firefighter’s Night Before Christmas celebration returns on December 13th from 10am–12pm at Melodi’s, 2811 Johnston Street in Lafayette, LA.
If you’ve attended in previous years, you already know how big of a hit this event is. Kids absolutely light up when the firetruck pulls into the parking lot, and the memories made are the kind that last for years.

This special afternoon is packed with hands-on fun and heartwarming moments for the whole family. Children can climb aboard a real firetruck, meet and talk with local firefighters, and explore the many cool tools they use every day. We’ll also be reading the beloved children’s book we carry, “The Firefighter’s Night Before Christmas,” which has quickly become a favorite during this event.

Every child gets the chance to earn their very own firefighter’s hat, and we’ll have plenty of adorable firefighter-themed toys, gifts, and accessories available for shopping — along with all the cute clothes, games, and goodies Melodi’s is known for.

But the fun doesn’t stop there…
Our shopping center has its own long-standing Christmas tradition, too! Santa’s sleigh will be riding through the parking lot during the event, offering rides for both children and parents. Families can hop aboard, enjoy a festive sleigh ride, and share a chat with Santa himself. This sleigh tradition has been happening here for many years, running every Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas, weather permitting — and our firefighter event happens to fall right alongside it, making the afternoon extra magical.
